O processo de alfabetização na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA)

This article presents the guiding question “How does the literacy process happen in Youth and Adult Education (YAE)?”, seeking, based on field research in the only school that offers YAE in a municipality in Campo das Vertentes (MG) , report this reality and relate it to public educational policies for the literacy process of this modality in the early years. The study is justified by the scarce research on literacy in YAE – despite its essential role in repairing history and guaranteeing access to education, a right for everyone.
