Visual analysis of Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing for lung cancer patients with chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting based on CiteSpace

Objective To explore research hotspots and development trend of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nursing interventions in the treatment of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting(CINV) in lung cancer patients by using CiteSpace software. Methods Relevant literatures on TCN nursing interventions in the treatment of CINV from CNKI database were retrieved from the Jan 1, 2004 to Jan 1, 2024 and visualized by the CiteSpace 6. 3. R1 software. Results A total of 96 related literatures were included, and the number of publications showed an increasing trend. The keywords were acupoint application and acupoint injection, and researches focused mainly on the effect of TCM nursing on patients’ quality of life. Conclusion Efforts had been made to investigate the effect of TCM nursing on chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting in recent two decades over china, and numbers of published studies continues to increase. Given the lack of innovation and in-depth studies, it is required to enhance the training of TCM nursing specialists and improve the quality of TCM nursing for lung cancer patients with nausea and vomiting
