Talent Management as an Intermediary Variable between Succession Planning and Institutional Excellence
The purpose of this study is to explore the association between succession planning (comprising organization strategy, human resources management strategy and individuals' characteristics) and institutional excellence via talent management at Nass Contracting Company in regard to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Three hundred forty-six employees responded to the survey conducted using a simple random sampling technique. The analysis relies on the results of a descriptive quantitative survey conducted among a representative sample of the employees of the given organization. The researchers postulated that there is a correlation of positive significance between succession planning (encompasses organizational strategy, human resources management strategy and individual's attributes) and institutional integrity through effective talent management at Nass Contracting Company in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The results confirmed that this conjecture stood through the test. In addition, the findings showed that there were some limitations with regards to the relations of succession planning and its components with institutional excellence through talent management at the company in question attributes that were measured (gender, age, qualification, years of experience, and position.).
