Research and Applications of Autonomous Driving Technology Based on Mechanical and Electrical Control

With the rapid development of technology, autonomous driving technology has gradually become a research hotspot in the automotive industry. This article proposes a new design scheme for an intelligent vehicle autonomous driving control system. The scheme involves modifying the steering, throttle, and braking systems of manned vehicles with appropriate mechanical structures, installing relevant automatic control devices, and establishing distributed connections between each system and the upper intelligent control computer through CAN. This article focuses on the autonomous needs of intelligent driving wire control system technology and completes the selection of various actuators for the chassis wire control system. Test experiments and vehicle integration tests have shown that this design scheme can achieve the goal of precise control of the underlying subsystems by the upper control computer. The system has high reliability, and the tracking error of the parking trajectory is within the allowable range. The parking path designed based on curves is effective. This article lays the foundation for further research on unmanned and intelligent control of vehicles based on electromechanical technology.
