Design and Implementation of a Green Supply Chain Management System for the Power Industry

For a long time, the leading cadres of Chinese enterprises generally have the idea of “emphasizing production but not logistics”, and the development of logistics management is relatively lagging behind. With the implementation of China’s “plant-grid separation and competitive bidding for Internet access”, the competition among power producers has become increasingly intense, and power producers are facing serious challenges. To win in the fierce power market, it is necessary to continuously adopt new technologies in the production process, upgrade the original equipment, improve the safe operation coefficient of the equipment, and make it work better. The most important thing is to put people in the first place, improve the management level of the enterprise, plug the loopholes in the management, and gain benefits from the management. The concepts of “logistics is the third source of profit of an enterprise” and “logistics level reflects the overall operation level of an enterprise” are gradually recognized by the decision-making level of electric power companies. Logistics is the main body of the company’s operating profit, it can bring huge direct and indirect benefits to the enterprise. This paper discusses the design and implementation of a green supply chain management system for the power industry. Through the results of a user satisfaction survey, the paperemphasizes the user acceptance of the system’s ease of use and environmental benefits, but also suggests room for improvement in the system’s responsiveness. These findings provide guidance for the further application and development of green supply chain management systems in the power industry in the future.
