Structural System Impact on Energy Saving in Housing Projects in Bahrain
To achieve sustainability, conducting energy consumption analysis during the early phases of architectural design is essential. This research paper investigates energy usage across various structural systems. Three villas in a Bahraini housing project serve as case studies to analyse energy performance for structural materials. The study employs both qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate energy consumption in these case studies. Consequentially, the research paper aims to establish a foundation for enhancing energy analysis through the strategic application of structural systems in similar context and environment.
