Temperature field analysis of oil-immersed transformer windings based on whole-field flow-solid coupling
Transformer as a contemporary power system important infrastructure, to ensure its smooth operation is important. When the transformer is in operation, the high temperature for a long time will lead to local overheating of the windings and insulation problems, reduce the service life of the transformer, and even endanger the safety of the power grid, so it is crucial to realise the prediction of temperature rise of the transformer windings to ensure the safe operation of the transformer. Article uses COMSOL software to achieve the transformer three-dimensional temperature field model establishment, and adaptive meshing, based on the whole field flow - solid coupling finite element analysis method to achieve the prediction of the transformer winding temperature field, the experimental results show that the location of the winding hot spot in the winding height of about 98% of the location of the hot spot with the actual hot spot location coincides with the hot spot temperature rise prediction compared with the measured value, the maximum error of 8.94%, can effectively predict the transformer winding temperature field.
