Development and Verification of Predictive Shift Strategy Based on Working Condition Zone Directed Graph

To address the adaptability issues of existing shifting strategies to varied road conditions and meet practical engineering requirements, a predictive shifting strategy based on working condition zone directed graph is proposed. This strategy predicts the vehicle's future short-term driving states and rapidly solves the objective function's optimal values using the condition-based partition directed graph method. This enables efficient planning of optimal shifting sequences in the short-term future. Simulation tests of this strategy on real road profiles, including mountainous terrain features, showed improvements over current vehicle shifting strategies in terms of shift frequency, performance, and fuel efficiency.
