Beynəlxalq alqı-satqı müqavilələrindən yaranan mübahisələrdə iddia müddətinə tətbiq edilən hüquqla bağlı nəzəri yanaşma

The article presents a theoretical position regarding the law applicable to the limitation period in disputes arising from international sales contracts. To substantiate this position, a comparative analysis of domestic legislation and international legal norms is carried out. An analysis of judicial practice is conducted, determining cases of application of the law of the state of the seller's location. Circumstances excluding the application of the seller's law are identified. The preferential application of international treaties establishing specific substantive rules on this issue is analyzed. At the same time, the possibilities of applying internationally unified substantive rules are determined. Keywords: International sales contract, limitation period, applicable law, international private law, special substantive rules, seller's law.
