Characteristics, Technical Tools and Software of Mobile Learning M-Learning

Four characteristics of mobile learning, one of the new directions of digital technology in modern education, are considered. A definition was given to term «mobile learning». It was considered that mobile learning is a new technology in education and its formal and informal aspects. An analysis of articles by foreign and domestic authors on mobile learning was conducted. The article was based on the results of a study on mobile learning. The advantages and disadvantages of mobile learning, its differences from other types of education are discussed. The technical equipment for mobile learning and the use of mobile phones and Internet resources for the development of digital tools for mobile learning are described. There was also a definition of the mobile application, their types and classification.
