SOCIAL DIFFERENTIATION OF THE SETTLERS OF UFA GOVERNORATE IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE POST-REFORM TRANSFORMATION OF THE 19TH CENTURY
Within the framework of this work, the authors highlight the regional features of the resettlement movement in the post-reform period. Attention is drawn to the social differentiation of migrants, the peculiarities of their adaptation to the culture of the host region, using the example of the peasants of Ufa Governorate, as well as to issues related to their communication in the administrative, economic and everyday contexts during the period of intensification of the movement of migrants. The migration of peasants in this period was a reaction to unfavourable conditions in the agrarian economy. The mass resettlement of a significant part of the population to the eastern territories of the country was inevitably associated with various difficulties arising in the specific environment of the host communities. This stage is also important for studying the factors and models that determine the formation of social and state identity.
