Research on power quality and network loss improvement of rural distribution network

Distribution network is the last link of residential electricity consumption, but there are still some problems of lag in distribution network construction, especially in rural areas, power quality problems exist. With the development and construction of the country's new power system, the development and utilization of large-scale new energy has intensified the instability and unpredictability of the power supply of rural distribution network. Based on the development status and operation characteristics of rural distribution network, this paper first analyzes the mechanism of distribution network loss and power quality problems, and then from the two aspects of network operation and distribution network transformation, puts forward a comprehensive renovation scheme of rural distribution network using static compensation device and dynamic compensation device, and finally selects a rural low-voltage station area for pilot application. The pilot application shows that the proposed scheme can effectively improve the power quality index of distribution network.
