Research on WiFi-CSI Based Behavior Monitoring and Analysis System in Smart Homes

With the rapid advancement of Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) technology, WiFi-CSI (Channel State Information) has emerged as a key research focus in the field of intelligent housing systems due to its distinct advantages, such as the elimination of additional sensors, contactless operation, and cost-effectiveness. The demand for smart home systems is steadily increasing, particularly in the areas of health monitoring and home safety. This study aims to leverage WiFi-CSI technology within the smart home environment by developing a comprehensive system for behavior monitoring and analysis. The activity recognition model, based on WiFi-CSI, utilizes a specialized dataset for Wi-Fi-based human activity recognition in both Line-Of-Sight (LOS) and Non-Line-Of-Sight (NLOS) indoor environments. The system effectively extracts and analyzes human activity data from WiFi channel state information, enabling the intelligent tracking of family members' movements and the real-time detection and analysis of their health status. The study's findings demonstrate that this system not only enhances the timeliness of health problem detection but also significantly improves overall home safety and quality of life. This work offers a novel perspective on the development of smart home technology, broadening the application scope of WiFi-CSI technology and providing a practical approach to home automation and personalized services.
