Research on the Test and Evaluation System for the Convenience of Touch Interactive Operation under Dynamic Scenarios

With the development of cockpit intelligence, touch interaction has become one of the high-frequency ways for users to interact with cars. Performing touch interaction tasks such as air conditioning control, music control, system settings, and phone operation in dynamic scenarios requires distraction, making it impossible to focus on the road. At the same time, the complexity of the menu hierarchy and the design differences in interface and logic can lead to an increase in distracted driving time, thereby posing a safety risk. Therefore, it is important to make touch interaction task operations simple, logical, and efficient while ensuring driving safety. At present, there is a lack of objective and unified test and evaluation methods in the industry, and the evaluation of product design and the impact on driving safety cannot be unified. This paper will propose a set of objective test and evaluation system for the convenience of touch interactive operation under dynamic scenarios, explore the convenience of the driver to carry out touch interactive tasks through the touch terminal under dynamic scenarios, and conduct test verification through two high-frequency scenarios of air conditioning setting and radio tuning, and finally determine the objectivity and reliability of the test and evaluation method.
