Research on the Static Complexity of Traffic Environment Based on Information Entropy and Grey Correlation
The complexity of the traffic environment is one of the important bases for the design of test scenario and safety evaluation of automated vehicles. In order to solve the problem that the existing static complexity model of traffic environment is insufficient in considering traffic environment factors and accuracy, we summarized the contribution of 11 static influencing factors of traffic environment and corresponding secondary factors to the static complexity of traffic environment. We established a static complexity model of traffic environment by combining information entropy and grey correlation analysis. The results shows that the static complexity of the traffic environment in the test scenarios mainly depends on the primary and secondary static elements and their interactions.
