Analysis and optimization of high-performance network data capture solutions

An analysis was conducted on software solutions for real-time access to raw network data in response to the current demand for high-speed network data monitoring, analysis, and performance prediction. This article takes WinPcap as an example to delve into its internal operating mechanism, showing in detail the various stages of network packet capture, and providing a detailed performance evaluation for each stage. At the same time, it points out the performance defects and bottlenecks in each stage, and finally provides a detailed solution to improve the performance of each stage, so that it can significantly improve the high-speed network packet capture rate, save system costs, and leave ample resources for subsequent packet processing and analysis. Finally, a quantitative analysis and demonstration were conducted on the improvement plan.
