Application of online water removal device in oil-immersed transformer insulation system based on molecular sieve
Water content is one of the key factors influencing the safe operation of oil-immersed transformer insulation systems. In order to address the issues of complexity, low efficiency, and the potential for secondary pollution associated with traditional transformer water removal methods, this paper analyses the aging mechanisms of transformers and proposes an intelligent water removal device for oil-immersed transformer insulation systems based on molecular sieve technology. This device enables real-time monitoring of oil temperature and trace water content, conducts water removal operations according to pre-set control strategies, and includes abnormal protection functions. By utilizing molecular sieve technology, the new device offers advantages such as high-water removal efficiency, simple operation, and environmental safety. This technology helps maintain dry oil-paper insulation, enhances the safety and stability of transformer operation, and prolongs its lifespan.
