Research on a Computer-Automated Monitoring System for FM Broadcasting Stations
With the rapid development of the national economy and defense infrastructure, radio frequency spectrum resources have become a scarce strategic asset. Various industries such as civil aviation, railways, maritime development, and meteorology are increasingly relying on radio technology to enhance their own automation, intelligence, and information modernization. FM broadcasting is a significant application of radio technology, playing a crucial role in enriching people’s lives, ensuring traffic safety, and disaster search and rescue. However, current monitoring of FM broadcasting faces challenges, including low automation levels, high monitoring costs, and inefficient processes. This paper proposes a fast signal search algorithm based on research into FM broadcasting monitoring. The algorithm first preprocesses the frequency band scanning data, segments the data based on the preprocessing results, and then determines adaptive threshold lines on each segment to identify the signal’s center frequency, ultimately confirming the signal through statistical methods. This innovation achieves automated monitoring of FM broadcasting and enhances monitoring efficiency.
