Research on Catastrophe Insurance Strategy based on AHP-EWM and Grey Prediction Model

This article investigates the disaster insurance strategy based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process-Entropy Weight Method (AHP-EWM) and the Grey Prediction Model, in response to the severity and frequency of natural disasters and their economic and social impacts. The paper begins by analyzing the challenges disasters pose to the insurance industry, then integrates the Entropy Weight Method with the TOPSIS model to determine the weights of economic indicators, and predicts the future trends of risk factors using the Grey Prediction and Fourier series forecasting methods. The study categorizes risk factors into three levels, providing a reference for insurance companies in risk assessment and pricing. Additionally, the article proposes a variable weight-based building value assessment model, which, compared to traditional evaluation methods, can more reasonably reflect the comprehensive value of buildings. Ultimately, the research emphasizes the importance of improving disaster insurance strategies and risk assessment models to enhance the risk management capabilities of the insurance industry and the protection of communities.
