Dual Band Omnidirectional High Gain Antenna

The research paper presents the design and practical realization of a dual band Omnidirectional high gain coplanar waveguide (CPW) cross-coupled antenna. The antenna is designed on an FR-4 epoxy substrate with specific dimensions and operates in two frequency bands: 1.07 – 1.17 GHz and 1.28 – 1.38 GHz, achieving peak gains of 5.8 dBi and 5.68 dBi with radome, respectively for S11< -10 dB. This paper also provides details about its practical realization and discusses a technique for realizing a compact dual band Omni directional antenna.
