A Patented High Performance Dual-Band (60GHz/96.5GHz) Rectangular Patch Antenna with Enhanced Slots for V-Band Purpose
This paper describes a new custom-designed rectangular antenna using microstrip technology for V-band applications. A radiating rectangular monopole is used into the antenna design in order to attain resonance at 60GHz with a return loss of -35.50 dB. A single banded patch antenna with a distorted heart rectangular slot makes up the newly developed dual band antenna design. Rogers RT/Duroid 5880, a substrate with a thickness of 0.0254 mm, serves as its foundation. It functions at frequencies in the range of 58.51 to 61.89 GHz. The suggested antenna was developed using the HFSS application. An extensive evaluation of dual band micro strip patch antennas in the 60 GHz band, a critical frequency for fifth generation (5G) technology, is given in this review article. The antenna's excellent diversity performance makes it appropriate for usage in mobile networks, wireless technology, and 5G devices. as well as wireless technology and mobile networks. This study looks at a number of variables, such as reflection coefficients, VSWR, and 2-D radiation patterns in the E- and H-plane.
