Development and Solutions of Smart Elderly Care under Wireless Communication Technology

The intensification of global population aging, the early evolution of wireless communication technology, and its popularization in daily life have gradually made smart elderly care services a focus of attention in people's lives. It is expected to improve the elderly's elderly care and safety level through wireless technology means. This study aims to analyze the current application status and potential of wireless communication technology in the field of smart elderly care, explore the development needs and challenges faced by smart elderly care, and propose corresponding solutions. This study adopted a system analysis and design approach, proposing a smart elderly care solution framework that includes three aspects: health monitoring, emergency response, and daily life assistance. This framework integrated key technologies such as the Internet of Things and Wi-Fi, providing comprehensive and real-time health management and life support for the elderly. Finally, the study found that smart elderly care systems based on wireless communication technology could provide real-time monitoring of the lives of the elderly. The data transfer rate of this system reached 100Mbps, which could provide timely warnings for abnormal physical functions of the elderly and also provide effective management tools for elderly care institutions and families.
