Innovative Approach to Agile Education: Generative AI-Supported Planning Poker Simulation
This study investigates the integration of generative AI into the Scrum planning poker process within an educational environment. Through the Character.ai platform, Students interacted with AI agents, including a Scrum Master and three Developers, using their mobile devices to conduct Planning Poker sessions. Quantitative criteria were developed to assess Agent interactions, Student participation, Collaboration, Communication, and Decision-making Patterns. Initial findings reveal encouraging levels of Student engagement and effective utilization of AI-supported techniques during the sessions. These results highlight the potential of generative AI to enhance educational experiences, particularly within the context of Agile project management methodologies.
