Efficient Resource Utilization for Web Applications in Mobile Cloud Computing

Embracement of cloud computing has been systematically rising; many businesses are migrating to the cloud in order to exploit its flexible, strong, and cost-effective nature. MCC which is on a new computing paradigm, provides many benefits to mobile users. Since, the mobile devices are dependent on the wireless communication that might give rise to the complications like lack of enough bandwidth and network congestion. In conclusion, MCC web applications’ primary goal is enhanced performance by fulfilling customer demands on time to improve the service satisfaction level of its customers. this examination of the creative method of caching data in such applications by Redis, an in-memory data repository, is aimed at the improvement of the Quality of Service. We implement two methods of obtaining application data; either by directly querying the database, or the cache. Our research shows that our testing of the caching technique outperforms in a variety of performance metrics like response time, throughput, latency, and number of hits by up to four times faster data retrieval. This upgrade is targeted at mobile devices particularly due to their limited network bandwidth and wireless connection.
