IoT based protective face cover with body and environment vital parameters monitoring system

IoT-enabled healthcare systems can enhance the monitoring of patient well-being, particularly in remote distant regions with insufficient infrastructure, as IoT has extended its presence into the everyday lives of individuals, whether it's through remote communication, data transmission, or wearable devices tracking your location and health status, among other functions. The COVID-19 pandemic shook the otherwise stagnant healthcare system in such a way that there has been a resurgence in the demand for fast and reliable health monitoring systems. It reiterated that in today's unpredictable fast world, even otherwise nearly everyone, once they reach a certain age, should utilize health monitoring devices to gauge essential body parameters. Continuous real-time monitoring of a person's heart rate, body temperature and respiratory environment is imperative for ensuring their safety and well-being, particularly when working in underground mines, hospitals, refineries, and even while commuting in unfavorable polluted environment. In this research work, we introduce the design and development of a wearable monitoring head gear designed to consistently measure wearers heart rate, body temperature, and surroundings ambient gases, sending this data to a central monitoring station in real-time. It operates on a compact battery, capable of prolonged continuous operation thus making it robust and reliable apart from being more than 98% accurate.
