Development of a Discrete-Time Mathematical Model of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

The task of improving the automatic control systems of the pump electric drive using a microcontroller arises with the operating oil wells equipped with centrifugal electric pump systems in a periodic mode. The microcontroller is a part of the surface equipment. In this context, only electrical signals received by the control system as noisy discrete determinations, are available for measurement. Therefore, it is necessary to convert the mathematical model of the object from continuous time to discrete time in difference form for the implementation of digital control systems. This research proposes a discrete-time mathematical model for permanent magnet synchronous motors based on the Tustin method

Abstract

The task of improving the automatic control systems of the pump electric drive using a microcontroller arises with the operating oil wells equipped with centrifugal electric pump systems in a periodic mode. The microcontroller is a part of the surface equipment. In this context, only electrical signals received by the control system as noisy discrete determinations, are available for measurement. Therefore, it is necessary to convert the mathematical model of the object from continuous time to discrete time in difference form for the implementation of digital control systems. This research proposes a discrete-time mathematical model for permanent magnet synchronous motors based on the Tustin method
