Merger between Keurig and Dr. Pepper: Creating Synergy through Distribution Efficiency
This case study aims to analyze how the integration between Keurig and Dr. Pepper increased distributional efficiency after 2018. The integration created synergy by way of internal supply chain restructuring, distribution network expansion, global partnership signing, digital marketing and eco-friendly management. In particular, it can be said that the increase in direct store delivery policies promoted distribution to various consumers, and the global partnership signed with the Lavaza Group further expanded the existing market share and contributed to improving consumer access. However, as awareness of environmental pollution increases, the issue of K-Cup recycling has been identified as a problem to be solved later. This case study aims to suggest that convergence between industries can create new engines for corporate growth and that strategies that arouse consumer participation in sustainable management and digital platforms are becoming increasingly important.
