Low friction counter-piston engine for small mechanization equipment
The article presents a rationale for the parameters and operating modes of a hybrid counter-piston engine. It addresses the challenges of conventional four-stroke engines and proposes a counter-piston motion scheme for internal combustion engines designed for agricultural self-propelled machinery, such as motor cultivators, lawnmowers, snow blowers, and similar equipment. Additionally, the article examines the production process of these engines and explores design optimization options to reduce manufacturing time.
