Ten-year clinical outcomes of atypical Spitz tumours: a prospective, single-centre observational cohort study
Atypical Spitz tumours (ATSs) are an uncommon type of lesions that demonstrate features of both benign Spitz naevi and malignant spitzoid melanoma. Risk stratification of ATSs can be difficult, thus creating uncertainty surrounding their management. We aimed to determine the long-term clinical outcomes of ATSs over a 10-year follow-up period, including disease recurrence and incidence of metastasis.
