THE INFLUENCE OF THE MINDFULNESS AND PSYCHO-EDUCATION APPLICATION MODULE (MAM-P) IN STABILIZING MENTAL CRISIS AND HEART RATE
This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Mindfulness and Psycho-Education Application Module (MAM-P) in reducing heart rate and psychological crisis levels. Six female clients experiencing mental crises received the MAM-P intervention at four hospitals and one health clinic in Kelantan. Semi-structured interviews and document analysis were used to obtain qualitative data. Findings revealed a significant reduction in pulse rate and crisis levels after the intervention. MAM-P was found to be effective in stabilizing physiological responses and reducing psychological stress. This study supports the potential of MAM-P as a holistic intervention to improve mental well-being in crisis situations. However, long-term effectiveness may require continuous training and additional support. Future studies should assess the long-term effectiveness of MAM-P in various populations and explore the integration of technology to enhance access and intervention outcomes.
