Li-Fi Based Deepwater Communication Using ATMega328
Conventional radio frequency (RF) communication poses significant challenges in underwater environments due to its short transmission range, sluggish data rates, and high interference levels. One answer to these issues is Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) technology. This paper compares traditional radio frequency transmissions with Li-Fi technology. It also discusses how sound and light are used to convey information. According to this report, Li-Fi technology outperforms $\mathrm{Wi-Fi}$ in a number of parameters, including bandwidth and data rate. Li-fi technology offers safe connection and poses no threat to aquatic life. Since light signals attenuate less in water, $\mathrm{Li}-\mathrm{Fi}$ is a viable deep water communication technique. To send and receive data, the suggested system makes use of an ATMega328 microcontroller, which is renowned for its adaptability and low power consumption.
