Comprehensive Study on Wearable Substrates
There is a considerable amount of research in the field of wearable wireless communication and sensing using micro strip patch antennas which has opened new avenues for wearable devices that un-conditionally need a compact structure with a decent amount of gain and efficiency. These types of antennas can also be made conformal so as to fit into a complex structure of wearable devices. Varieties of substrate materials are available, which results in cheaper and useful variants of antennas. The study focuses on conformal substrate materials for applications in wearable devices. Following a thorough examination of the aforementioned subjects, the article concentrates on the integral difficulties and potential applications of conformal antennas.
