Numerical analysis to Investigate the Influence of various HTLs on MA0.9Cs0.1Pb(I0.6Br0.4)3 based Perovskite Solar Cells
In this paper, we have investigated the viability of cesium-based perovskite solar cell through numerical simulations. The influence of various charge transport layers is studied by employing $\mathrm{NiCo}_{2} \mathrm{O}_{4}, \mathrm{NiO}_{x}$ and $\mathrm{Spiro-OMeTAD}$ as the hole transport layers (HTLs) and $\mathrm{TiO}_{2}, \mathrm{MoS}_{2}$ and C<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">60</inf> as the electron transport layers (ETLs). The detailed study of performance parameters on the proposed device suggests the implication of NiCO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>O<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4</inf> and C 60 as an excellent HTL and ETLs for $\mathrm{MA}_{0.9} \mathrm{Cs}_{0.1} \mathbf{P b}\left(\mathrm{I}_{0.6} \mathrm{Br}_{0.4}\right)_{3}$ based perovskite solar cell. The best performance of this structure results in $V_{o c}, J_{s c}, F F$, and $\eta$ of $1.431 \mathrm{~V}, 24.17 \mathrm{~mA} / \mathrm{cm}^{2}, 79.54$ and 25.63% respectively. The optimization is done by varying the thickness, doping density, and defect density of the absorber layer. It can be inferred that an absorber thickness of $0.3 \mu \mathrm{~m}$, doping density of $1 \mathrm{E} 14 \mathrm{~cm}^{-3}$ and a defect density of $1 \mathrm{E} 12 \mathrm{~cm}^{-3}$ results in excellent performance of the proposed device structures. Also, the impact of series and shunt resistances is determined for the investigated structures.
