Social Work Alert
This paper titled “Social Work Alert,” is an innovative web-based platform designed to enhance community engagement and participation in social welfare activities across urban regions. Recognizing the fragmented nature of existing volunteer information dissemination methods, “Social Work Alert” aims to consolidate comprehensive details about various social work events, including descriptions, dates, venues, and volunteer registration forms. The platform’s integration with Google Maps provides precise location information, facilitating user access to event sites. Additionally, a gallery of past events is incorporated to establish credibility and demonstrate the impact of these initiatives. By providing a centralized, user-friendly interface, “Social Work Alert” seeks to bridge the gap between potential volunteers and social work opportunities, thereby fostering a more engaged and proactive community. This paper provides an in-depth discussion on the design, development, and implementation of the platform, emphasizing its key features, user engagement statistics, and the positive feedback garnered from both volunteers and organizers. Through this initiative, we endeavor to cultivate a culture of active participation and community support in urban settings.
