Virtual Reality for Stress Management in University Students

This paper explores the potential for future research in using virtual reality for stress management with university students in a collaborative environment. The use of technology in the form of virtual reality can potentially reduce stress. Stress can be a factor in the lives of university students and may impact desirable outcomes with relationships, academics, and self. While there are numerous ways in which stress may be managed, the use of virtual reality devices with mindfulness applications warrants further investigation. The findings provide support for future research to be conducted in this area.
