Developing a Secure, Trust-Based, and Energy-Efficient Hybrid Protocol for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs)
In recent decades, mobile ad hoc networks have been deployed across a wide range of fields because wireless service requirements and deployment requirements have rapidly evolved. Safety-critical industries such as environmental monitoring, disaster relief, and communications can benefit from these technologies. Security measures currently in place cannot adequately defend MANETs from major security risks. A number of safe routing protocols have enhanced MANET security. Intermediate nodes are trustworthy and energyefficient, ensuring efficient routes between destinations. Secure Trust-based energy-efficient hybrid protocol is proposed. According to simulation results, packet delivery ratios, throughput, energy consumption, and detection rates are all highly efficient. Data transmission using the proposed model is stable, secure, and trusted compared to EA-DRP and EE-OHRA models, which do not provide the same protection.
