AI Enabled Smart Teaching Assistants
The objective of this study is to focus on AI enabled Smart Teaching Assistants (STAs) and how they may be used in schools throughout India to lighten the load on teachers. It aims to comprehend how STAs could be used in the classroom while assuring the success, happiness, and well-being of both students and teachers. Research reveals that STAs are potentially a significant aid in the context of review of examination, post-school tutorial, grading and scoring, and student achievement reporting. This is based on discussions with thirty STA users from academia and education, as well as a thorough review of the past literature and information of STAs. However, in order to prevent the learning experience from being compromised, they must be properly developed with a focus on student support. STAs like any other AI is subject to multiple loopholes pertaining to plagiarism and creativity theft. Experts wrapped up stating that STA may assist a teacher but never replace a teacher.
