A Critical Analysis of Genetic Algorithms for Optimized Solutions
The natural process of genetic development in living organisms is analogous to the growth of genetic algorithms, an intelligent bionic algorithm with tremendous potential for global optimization. The cornerstone of genetic algorithms is first explained in this publication, which is based on Darwin’s “survival of the fittest.” After that, it briefly goes into the main characteristics of the algorithm and its shortcomings. An extensive explanation of genetic algorithms, including their structure, is given in this paper. It also covers applications, genetic operators particular to a given application, and taxonomy. This review paper covers all facets of genetic algorithms, including the problems and difficulties that arise from them as well as their solutions.
