THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE MANAGEMENT STYLE IN A GENERAL EDUCATION ORGANISATION AND TEACHERS’ PRONENESS TO CONFLICT
The article presents the results of a study on the relationship between the style of managing a general education organisation and teachers’ proneness to conflict. The research methods are: the methodology for determining the leadership style of a labour collective by V. P. Zakharov and A. L. Zhuravlev, the test “Self-assessment of Proneness to Conflict” by V. F. Ryakhovsky, the Conflict Mode Instrument methodology by K. Thomas, the methodology “Questionnaire for Determining the Conflictological Culture of Personality” by O. I. Shcherbakov. The analysis of the research results showed that the directive management style contributes to an increase in the level of conflict, while the collegial and permissive styles, on the contrary, contribute to the creation of a more harmonious atmosphere in interpersonal interaction.
