Inhibitory effectiveness of some bacteria extracts against some antibiotic-resistant and biofilm-producing bacteria isolated from some different infections in a local environment

This study included an evaluation of the inhibitory effectiveness of organic solvent extracts for secondary metabolites from bacteria (Bacillus subtillus, Kytococcuc sedentarius, and Pseudomonas fluorescens) isolated from the local environment in the city of Ramadi against the growth of bacteria resistant to antibiotics and producers biofilms isolated from clinical samples (urinary tract infection, diarrhea, wound infections and burns). The results showed that the ethanol extract of the bacteria Bacillus subtillus and Pseudomonas fluorescens was highly influential in inhibiting the growth of the bacteria Staph, as the inhibition zone diameter was 23±2 mm, and it was less effective by the bacteria Pseudomonas fluorescens against E. coli bacteria, where the inhibition diameter was 10±2 mm. The results also showed that the chloroform extract of the bacteria Kytococcuc sedentarius had the highest activity against the bacteria Acintobacter baumanii, which was 28±2 mm, and the lowest effectiveness was by the bacteria Bacillus subtillus against the bacteria Protuse, producing an inhibition diameter of 10±1 mm. On the other hand, the ethyl acetate extract of Pseudomonas fluorescens had the highest inhibition against Staph bacteria, recording 31±2 mm, and the lowest effectiveness was against the bacteria pseudomonas of 9±1 mm.
