Abstract 300: Incidence and Outcomes following Middle Meningeal Artery Embolization for Chronic Subdural Hematoma: A Retrospective Cohort Study of 982 Patients
Chronic subdural hematoma (cSDH) is a complex but commonly treated neurosurgical condition, particularly affecting the elderly. Traditional treatment involves open surgeries, but middle meningeal artery embolization (MMAE) has emerged as an effective, minimally invasive alternative. Limited follow‐up after MMAE has restricted published studies in determining the hazard of mortality as well as the risk of recurrence among these patients. The objective of this study is to illustrate vital, medication, and laboratory test incidence and outcomes following middle meningeal artery embolization in chronic subdural hematoma patients.
