Abstract 225: Cognitive Impairment and Length of Stay in Mild to Moderately Severe Stroke Patients
Previous research indicates that stroke patients with cognitive impairment face higher risks of re‐admission and complications post‐discharge. Despite these risks, evidence regarding the impact of cognitive impairment on the length of hospital stay (LOS) remains inconclusive, with many patients being discharged prematurely. This study evaluates whether cognitive impairment is independently associated with hospital LOS in mild to moderately severe stroke patients, accounting for other potential confounders.
