Abstract 340: Neurological Outcomes after Carotid Endarterectomy with Intraoperative Neuromonitoring: A Nationwide Analysis
Intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) is a well‐established method to detect neurologic complications during carotid endarterectomy (CEA). In this study, we aimed to assess whether the ability of IONM to detect cerebral ischemia or neurologic injury during CEA translates into better clinical outcomes, using the Nationwide Readmissions Database (NRD), a nationally (United States) representative database.
