Abstract 440: Transient Perivascular Inflammation of the Carotid Artery (TIPIC) Syndrome”Not a Typical Cause of Neck Pain and Stroke”
Transient perivascular inflammation of the carotid artery (TIPIC), also known as carotidynia is a rare syndrome comprising peri‐vascular inflammation of the carotid wall. The underlying pathophysiology remains unknown. This case highlights a case of TIPIC confirmed with dedicated Magnetic Resonance vessel wall imaging and the sequela of downstream ischemic stroke
