Abstract 114: Incidental Double Aortic Arch in a Young Woman with FMD While Treating Left ICA dissection: Conversion from Femoral to Radial Artery Access
A double aortic arch is a congenital vascular ring where the two arches converge to form the descending thoracic aorta. This can pose a challenge during mechanical thrombectomy, as their interactions with surrounding structures can reduce successful recanalization rates, potentially leading to poorer outcomes.
