Abstract 434: Timing in Endovascular Obliteration of Anterior and Posterior Circulation Ruptured Aneurysms and Clinical Outcomes
The timing for surgical obliteration of ruptured intracranial aneurysms (IA), either through clipping or coiling, is crucial to prevent rebleeding. While current clinical consensus favors early intervention, the impact of surgical timing on clinical outcomes for posterior circulation aneurysms compared to anterior circulation aneurysms has been underexplored. This study evaluates the differences in clinical outcomes based on the timing of endovascular coiling in anterior versus posterior circulation ruptured aneurysms.
