Abstract 215: Carotid Web Visual Guide: Morphological Variability and Differential Diagnoses
A carotid web (CaW) is an intimal form of fibromuscular dysplasia affecting the carotid bulb. It disturbs blood flow, promoting thrombosis/thrombo‐embolism/stroke. Due to their relatively low prevalence and suboptimal awareness, misdiagnosis is common. We aim to demonstrate the phenotypical variability of CaWs and illustrate their differential diagnoses.
