Abstract 450: Trends and Disparities in Subarachnoid Hemorrhage Mortality: A 20‐Year U.S. Population‐Based Study
Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), characterized by blood extravasation into the subarachnoid space, can be traumatic or spontaneous and is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. While SAH‐related mortality rates have been declining in the United States in recent years, demographic disparities persist. This study aimed to analyze mortality trends from 1999 to 2020 and identify variations across key demographic variables, including gender, race, age, region, and urban versus demographics.
