Abstract 244: Dizzy, Losing Weight and Vomiting? An Atypical Presentation of Dural Arteriovenous Fistula

Dural arteriovenous fistulas (dAVFs) are rare intracranial vascular abnormalities characterized by abnormal connections between the meningeal or pial arteries and the dural venous sinuses or cortical veins. Tentorial dAVFs are even more uncommon and can be challenging to diagnose. We present a unique case involving months of unintentional weight loss, dizziness, and vomiting, which was ultimately diagnosed as dAVF.
