Abstract 141: Safety, Efficacy, and Long‐Term Outcomes of the Optima and OptiMax Coil Embolization System for treatment of intracranial aneurysms: A Large Multicentric Cohort Study
The Optima and OptiMax coil embolization system (Balt USA, LLC) has emerged as a novel embolization modality for treating intracranial aneurysms, receiving 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on March 20, 2018. There is currently no reporting in the literature evaluating their safety, efficacy, and long‐term outcomes. This gap in the literature highlights the need for robust real‐world data to assess their performance in diverse patient populations.
